Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 (16 where that is the age of digital consent, including most of the EU/UK) to use Receta Ime. You are responsible for your account credentials and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect misuse. Registration records the exact version of these terms you accepted and when; if the terms materially change, you will be asked to accept the new version before continuing.
Recipes and nutrition are estimates
Recipes are produced by automated processing of videos, captions and screenshots and can be wrong, incomplete or outdated. Nutrition values and macros are rough estimates, never medical or dietary advice, and can be more accurate for you when portions are edited in the app. Allergens: automated processing can miss ingredients, including allergens. Always check labels, the original video and the actual dish. Labels like “good for the gym” are lifestyle shorthand, not health claims. Receta Ime is not a medical device, not a dietitian and not an allergen oracle.
Source content, creators and link-backs
Receta Ime does not re-host, store or re-serve videos. Recipes extracted from a source keep a link to the original video and, where the source shows it, the creator handle; credit stays with the creator. The recipe text you get is a factual derivative — ingredient facts cannot be owned — and we write it in our own words. If you are a creator and want a video removed from extraction, or a recipe taken down, use the takedown route: send the form on the Contact page (choose "Ask something else"), state the video URL and the action you want; we remove the recipe and can block the source link on our side within a reasonable time (target: 7 days). If you publish a post on the social pages of this site, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display that post there with attribution, until you delete it; you keep your rights.
Acceptable use
Do not: scrape or hammer the service or its API; use automation to bulk-extract; attempt to bypass rate limits or quotas; submit unlawful, infringing or malicious content; impersonate others; interfere with the service; probe or attack it; or use it for anything unlawful. We may throttle, suspend or terminate access for abuse, with notice where practicable. Your content must not infringe others’ rights or the law; we may remove content that does and may act on rightsholder and user reports.
Your content and our licence to it
Your recipes, cookbooks and posts are yours. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the service: storing, syncing, displaying (to you, and to other people where you chose to publish), backing up and serving the app and this website. Deleting your account or the item deletes the live rows at once, and we do not use a backup to bring them back. Feedback you send may be used to improve the service.
Content rights and takedowns
Receta Ime respects intellectual property and expects you to do the same. If you believe a recipe infringes your rights or misattributes you, or a post on the social pages is unlawful or offensive, report it with the form on the Contact page — pick "Ask something else", and say which post or recipe you mean. We review and act on reports; repeat infringers are banned. If you are a creator whose video was used, we remove the recipe on request and can block further extraction of the video by your link. Reports should include the URL, your rights and how to reach you.
No warranty and limits of liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free output, or that the AI will extract a usable recipe. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event (zero for free users). Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law. You are responsible for verifying recipes before cooking, including allergen and safety checks.
Subscriptions and paid features
Receta Ime is free: there is no subscription, in-app purchase or paid feature to buy on any platform. Should a paid option ever appear, it is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android), or through this website via PayPal, always with the price, period, renewal and cancellation terms shown before purchase. Store subscriptions are managed in your Apple or Google account settings and website purchases through the link in your receipt. You may have a statutory withdrawal right for online purchases (14 days in the EU); for immediate digital access you may be asked to consent to the loss of that right.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Albania. Any dispute will first be attempted to be resolved amicably; failing that, the competent courts of Tirana, Albania have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that let you sue in your local courts if you are an EU/EEA consumer. If you are an EU/EEA consumer and want to try resolving a dispute without going to court, contact your national consumer protection authority or your local European Consumer Centre (ecc-net.eu); the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was closed on 20 July 2025 and no longer handles complaints.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms as the product evolves; the date above shows the current version and you will be asked to re-accept material changes. Continued use after acceptance is your agreement. You may stop using the service and delete your account any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or threaten the service or others, with notice where practicable and without notice for illegal activity.

The addresses support@tryrecetaime.com and privacy@tryrecetaime.com are published for completeness; the domain has no mail records switched on yet, so a message there can bounce.
The operating entity is a sole proprietorship trading as Receta Ime, based in Albania. The contact form on this site reaches the owner directly, and every request is answered from there.
